About Evidence

Founded in 2002 as Spin-Off company of Scuola Sant'Anna, Evidence Srl is an Italian company specialized in research and development of software for embedded electronic devices.

The company’s flagship is ERIKA Enterprise, the first open-source RTOS certified for the automotive market. This RTOS supports a large amount of hardware architectures and has been used by several renowned companies operating in the automotive, HVAC and household appliances markets as well as in various European research projects.

Evidence Srl is a highly innovative company. About 25% of its employees obtained a PhD in computer science or engineering. The research activities focus on (but are not limited to) design of operating systems for embedded devices, real-time scheduling, implementation of drivers and innovative supports in the Linux kernel, firmware for multi- and many- core architectures.
