The kernel community is continuing the development of the SCHED_DEADLINE Linux scheduler, whose first versions have been initially implemented and proposed by Evidence Srl. SCHED_DEADLINE is a real-time scheduling class for Linux with bandwidth isolation (AKA "resource reservation") capabilities based on the EDF algorithm.
The new patch (fourth version) of the scheduler supports global/clustered multiprocessor scheduling through dynamic task migrations.
We just released SMCube 1.03, which is mainly a bug-fix release which includes the following bug fixes:
One of the major limitations of ScicosLab so far was the missing availability of a tool for describing state machines.
This is not true anymore: today, SMCube 1.0 has been released!
What is SMCube? SMCube is a tool for modeling, simulation, and code generation of discrete time finite state machines.
With SMCube you can graphically edit, simulate, and generate code for embedded targets.
Curious about it?
Just download and use it, it is free of charge and part of the new ScicosLab Pack 11!
In collaboration with Tesene Srl we are proud to announce the new Evidence Website.
